Healthy Homemade Tomato Sauce
There's NOTHING better than a HEALTHY home-cooked meal!!!
Since I've comitted to cutting out sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes & dairy for the next 30 days... I started paying more attention to what I eat. I was shocked when I started reading the labels of everything & realized that THERE IS SUGAR IN EVERYTHING!!! If there isn't any sugar... There's soy, dairy or sulphites! It's CRAZY!!!
NO... I'm NOT on a diet! This is so much MORE than a diet! It's about being healthy, getting rid of my sugar "addiction" & systemic inflammation, & having a better relationship with food!!!
Because I LOVE food... I made all of these sugar, soy & dairy-free sauces yesterday! We usually make our own salsa & tomato sauce anyways, but I thought I'd share the recipe with you!
This sauce is great with lean-ground beef or turkey. You can eat it on whole-grain pasta... Or ditch the carbs all together & have it on top of spaghetti squash or zoodles!!!
